For this project, there are a couple themes I'd like to explore:
The idea that it's impossible to exist ethically within western society: Driving a car, eating fast food, purchasing clothing, etc, all carry negative environmental consequenses. I'd imagine each page holding a variety of options, all leading to the ultimate destruction of the Earth.
Murder mystery (This one's my favorite!): Introduce a few characters at the beginning, and each path leads to a separate investigation involving (scandals!) including the main character getting emotionally involved in the lives of the suspects. In some cases, it actually works out for the best. But, in one scenario, the main character ends up involved with a murderer.
ex: Ms. Tiedelbaum is looking extraordinary tonight, will you make an attempt to bed her? ... Oh no, she's preganant! Wait... you're a woman. Do you help raise the child anyways? Years later, you marry. Turns out she WAS the murderer. You love her anyways. Do you help destroy the evidence or send your wife to prison?!
Abstract daily adventure: Leaving the house vs. staying in with a movie (The only right answer is staying in with a movie).
